Program Information
Spanish Studies Abroad has a new way to improve your Spanish as well as to get students ready for the job market. The virtual internship program is a for-credit course, which offers both a Spanish language component and the chance to work with an organization in Argentina as a virtual intern.
Students will take one hour per week of a “Spanish for the Workplace” course taught by faculty in Argentina. In addition, students will work for either an NGO or a division of a university as an intern. Many of the roles include creating English language content.
Students will receive an official transcript from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba for 3 US academic credits. Spanish Studies Abroad will provide a program director to assist you. The fee for this course is $800.

Courses:
Virtual Internship in Argentina PLUS “Spanish for the Workplace” (mini course)
- This course has a 1-hour per week, on-line language class which is scheduled to meet at 5 PM ET / 2 PM PT on Mondays. Participants also will have 90 hours total in virtual internships, working with a public entity in Cordoba, Argentina. Most of the work will involve writing in English for marketing, promotional or social media purposes. Transcripts and language instruction will be provided by the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Prerequisite: 1 semester of advanced-college Spanish (300 level) or the equivalent. Because of the Spanish language instruction, a minimum enrollment is required for this course. Prerequisite: COR 490 VP (3 total credits)
