Spanish Studies Abroad has announced changes to programs that will be offered in Spring 2021 as a result of COVID and policies with our university partners abroad. Please see below for a full catalog of programs that are scheduled to run in Spring 2021. Note that the deadline to apply will be October 30, 2020 and late applicants will be considered.
Seville
The UPO International Program in Seville, Spain will begin “on-line” on Monday, January 25, 2021. SSA will be hosting an online orientation on January 22 (Friday) to welcome you to the program and give you additional information about how the semester will be organized. You will be following the online program from the comfort of your US home until your departure date for Spain arrives. You are expected to land in Seville on February 26 to begin your onsite orientation at our Center. Your classes will resume on the UPO campus on March 2.
These measures are being put into effect to guarantee the safety of all students while COVID-19 is still with us. UPO and SSA are planning 6 full weeks onsite with excursions, study visits and activities with your speaking partners to maximize your time abroad and give you many exciting opportunities to use and practice the language.
