Seville Pre-Departure Information
Congratulations on your acceptance to study with SSA! We hope this is the beginning of an exciting and life-changing journey. Before you go, there are a few things we still need from you, which you may access by logging into your online account.
Below you will find important information regarding your program. These materials should answer most of your questions about the program and prepare you to go abroad, but please do not hesitate to contact us!
Visa
All students studying abroad for a semester in Spain must get a Spanish student visa. In order to apply for your student visa, you must have an official acceptance letter, visa letter, and health insurance letter from SSA. These items will be emailed to you, upon your completion of the Passport Information form in your online account.

At SSA, we recognize that one of the reasons you are studying abroad is to see the world. Students can easily book weekend travel, day trips, special visits, and much more. Talk to your Resident Director for tips and advice on how best to take advantage of your time abroad.

Additional Practicum in Education Requirement
Please note that any student who wishes to work with children in Spain must obtain a criminal background check prior to their arrival. This mainly applies to students who will participate in the summer Practicum in Education. If you are a part of this program, please click here for more information.
